Nice hotel but a bit out of town

this is a nice hotel for the price. it is located on the main road into mae sai about 2-3 km away from the markets and shopping area and the border crossing point to myanmar but it's no real problem even if you don't have a car as there are plenty of taxis which go past to and from the nearby bus station. the room was nicely decorated in traditional style, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with a good hot shower. the tv only has thai language channels. breakfast was a fairly typical thai breakfast buffet with some western food and you can eat as much as you like. i would definitely stay there again.
