Wonderful resort, with excellent staff
This resort was beautiful and we loved our stay. When booking we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, and the room was set up even nicer than the standard.
The staff were lovely, and went out of their way to help out. When we lost a camera lens, staff set up a search party to comb over the area it was likely to be in. (We found it in the end, so it all ended well).
We did have two issues though, one with our toilet constantly being blocked in varying degrees, from the start of our stay. Toilets in Thailand seem to not generally be equipped to flush toilet paper, so probably the issue here too (though we didn't see any signs up to suggest it).
The other was that in our room the internet was slow and intermittent. It was good enough for skype in some of the common areas though.
Also, the restaurant is more expensive than many other local restaurants, but it's only to be expected at a hotel, especially given the convenience. The food was great, and the cocktails, superb.
I would recommend your own transport if you stay here (we had a car).
We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Thailand. Five stars.
