It was disappointing..

The room standard was poor, not clean and the staff were lazy and didn't clean it every day or provide fresh towels unless you asked them... I have never experienced poor service like this.... The bed was unbearable to sleep on..Old spring mattresses that stuck through into your back... Bad... I almost packed up and went across the road to another resort which was way above the standard of Monmaen and cheaper... The rooms at Monmean are overpriced...The showerhead is dismal.and the water not hot....I actually went to the public toilet shower to shower..There is no shuttle service or taxi service by the hotel to get to shops...The spa was apparently being repaired....There was no in house massage service which meant you had tto go about 5 kilometres to have one.... so overall i wouldn't go back or recommend anyhone from Australia to go there... The views are beautiful.. but that is about all..English language is little understood....

nice mountain view, not far from the city

Great mountain view. Poor taste of food.
It is the right place for the one who loves the nature since it is located on the mountain. However, there are lots of insect. Not quite clean. ABF is so bad. Staff is nice.
