Improving. Few restaurants at the beach. So not completly isolated

I loved my time at the Koh Jum Resort. I spent 5 days in the peace there. It is very remote and there really isn't much to do but walk up and down the beach, hike, eat or sleep. It is right on the coast and the hotel Longtail must come to get you from the ferry boat since there is no dock. This can be very scary and a bit dangerous so please caution and carry light luggage. I stayed in a bamboo bungalow with an ocean view (most of the bamboo's do) and it was luxurious but rustic at the same time. The bed was super comfortable (rare in Thailand), the sheets were thick and soft and it had a romantic, but very necessary mosquito net. (Bring lots of insect repellant) The bathroom was great to with a western toilet and a shower but with no hot water. There is a nice fan in the room and electricity (no TV). If you have the money, I would recommend booking a Teak Bungalow as they are gorgeous and the floors are solid and flat unlike the bamboo bungalows which are made out of bamboo rods. I was very relaxed when I left Koh Jum and I look forward to being able to go back again sometime. This would be an amazing honeymoon retreat. Did I mention that the staff is amazing? They are so great, I was really sad to leave them.
