We enjoyed our stay, but...

The wooden houses are beautiful and well-maintained. It's great to wake up to the tranquil view of the pond and garden. The beach is quite far from the houses, but within cycling distance. It's far from town area and hard to get to anywhere, but if you just want to chill out and stay at the resort then it's fine. Would be better if the villas had cooking facilities. Not many restaurants nearby, so we ended up eating at the beach bar every night. It was hit and miss. The food was overpriced and some things were reheated from frozen, but then again some things were quite nice, especially the banana fritters!
