we stopped here on our way to koh khor khao because we couldn't reach the ferry on time (18.00). the room was a pleasant surprise with great sukhothai style setup. only thing we missed was a real reason or selling point why people should book this resort. although it is a nice resort, there is nothing special there. we live in thailand so exploring local village with a bicycle was not that interesting for us, but maybe that might be interesting if you were new to thailand. didn't eat lunch or dinner, but breakfast was better than your average thai resort breakfast. it is a new resort and they are still building more rooms, but construction work didn't bother our stay. homestay is a bit misleading name for this place.
only one negative thing about our stay. we were told to check out at 12am which was normal but around 11am maids started to wait in front of our room to clean it. when i carried our first bag into our car around 11.30am one maid went into the bathroom to clean while my wife was taking a shower. this was not very nice and no apologies was offered.
we got great low season price so it was well worth of the price anyway. to sum it up, great room, nice small beach with friendly staff. i will probably go again in the future if the price is right.
