Beautiful escape from the heat and crowds

The hotel is located in the Chao Praya river and a shuttle fetches you from Pra Arthit pier. From the minute you arrive, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are plenty big enough to feel homely and let you relax, while still maintaining a hotel quality and ambience. The evening meal (rack of lamb) was simply delicious and as good a quality as in any high-end restaurant. We didn't try any local food, but there are plenty of street vendors just across the river for that. Overall, we loved it and would choose Praya Palazzo every time we go back to Bangkok.
