I initially booked for three nights and as soon as I checked in and saw the place I booked three additional nights I was so impressed. My little bungalow was perfect for one person. Very spartan and clean and comfortable. And QUIET! The pool is a nice lounging area if you don’t want to venture out, as is the front veranda that looks out over the sea. The location is perfect: just a short ride over to Lonely Beach if you want to party and take in the madness, or go in the other direction down to Bang Bao and Klong Kloi beach. Yes, the beach in front of the resort is stony and not suitable for swimming, but this is a minor point when there are so many other beaches to explore on the island. I found White House to be a good refuge to return to after daily excursions. The staff are incredibly nice, especially Tin the manager who is very pleasant and accommodating. I didn’t eat the free breakfast much so I cannot comment on that. I definitely plan on staying here next time.
