Second Time Not So Nice

This was my second time at White House. The first time I stayed in a cheaper/older bungalow, which was adequate and affordable. The staff were more accommodating as well. The second time they only had one available, but it was dirty and the bedside light was broken, which looked dangerous (especially for a child). So I opted to spend more for the newer bungalows and soon regretted my decision. Mine was in the back hovering over a trench of rubbish, and it was remarkable dirty... even after the staff just cleaned it. “Tin” the manager was gone the whole week, and so the remaining staff were nearly worthless. Everytime I asked for anything, like new water bottles, it was like I was bothering them. Only one teenage girl spoke any English. The rest are Cambodians who barely speak Thai, much less English. The bartender, who was very sweet, could speak neither. So you could order beer from him, but not food. There are better options in Bailan.

Better management

Nice staff but not nice for beach.

Reasonable Quiet Hotel
