A lot of better hotels on this island for the same price if cheaper

We travelled during high season and pre-booked one night at the Legacy in hopes to finding a better hotel for the next couple of nights. Everything was booked. We had to stay at the Legacy as it was the only hotel available. We paid $2000 baht a night in a standard room which is overpriced in my opinion but we had no other choice. Room only has a mini fridge, 2 small bottles of water and some shower amenitites. Reception at the front is rude and money hungry. The pool was clean but small. Wifi was non existent. Area was more of the poorer side of Koh Phi Phi, we noticed the area opposite on the island was more relaxed and clean. Wish we could've stayed there! Make sure to prebook early during high season as you will get a better hotel at a better price. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Tons of better options on the island.
