Overall, our one night stay was pleasant and the hotel was reasonable and clean. There were only a few small items that bothered us like having only 2 electrical outlets available in the entire room. There weren't even outlets for the night stand lamps. The lamps had their cords wrapped around them because there was no outlet to plug them in. The Thermostat was pretty worn out and cracked so you had to guess how to control the temperature because the symbols and words on the buttons were worn off. Luckily, the other room we booked for the kids had a legible thermostat so we could figure out which buttons to push. The deadbolt lock on the patio doors didn't work well, but there were flush bolts at the tops of the doors so you could lock the doors. There isn't an elevator so if you have trouble walking up stairs try not to get stuck with a room on the 3rd floor. The wireless internet was very weak in our room, but if you stand near the entrance door or in the corridor, it's much better. The entry door lock is just a cylinder lock and isn't very secure, but they do have a safe in the room. On the brighter side, the front desk staff were all very nice and they had a nice staff member waiting at the dock who took our luggage from the pier to the hotel. We checked out the next morning and they were very nice to hold our luggage until the Ferry in the afternoon and even transported it to the dock for us. The hotel is only about 15 minutes from the ferry dock and close enough to the entertainment areas, but far enough so you can get a good's night sleep when desired. It's not a luxurious resort but it was very pleasant overall.
