Grand resort but only in name

a chinese money laundering operation is what one thai called the grand sea!
very pleasant traditional thai buildings but needing a complete overhaul in terms of furniture and fittings.
mostly burmese staff were very pleasant

really overpriced

If you are for Full Moon Party, stay anywhere else
The breakfast was not good. Most items weren't replenished. The bathroom water had bad smell.

Nice resort, bad room, lots of mosquitos
The resort is nice but the room needs some work. Very dirty room with leaky shower. No separation between wet/dry section. The room looks old. Nice pool and beach however. Food is okay.

Very pleasant staff at front desk, went out of their way to help me find my wallet which i misplaced. Towel hooks or racks in bathrooms will help.
