Beautiful hotel, great location, but expensive

i really enjoyed my stay here. it's close to everything and the beach was beautiful (minus the jellyfish stingers floating in the water...). the staff was very attentive and helpful and helped with travel plans around the island. the rooms were clean and well kept, but the maids were incredibly rude one morning when i was "in their way" getting dressed.

the price for the place was a bit overpriced, but understandably so since it was right on the beach. but i was saddened and a little disgruntled to hear about some places right on the beach that were half the price. it wasn't even full moon party weekend either. i would expect those prices during the festive weekends, but not when it's an off weekend.

overall, it was a pleasant stay, and hopefully i can find rates a little lower when i go back.
