If you're staying on Koh Phangan, stay here!!!

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked, as we booked a suite and the price compared to other rooms across Thailand was more expensive, however, the suite had to have been one of the nicest and cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in! The sunken bath with bamboo shower overhead is an amazing feature as well. Everything from the pool to the service was amazing, with one of the best things being the food...it had to have been the best food on the island (several other travelers we met who stayed there said the same thing.
The people working there seem to have a real family vibe to them, they aren't friendly because they have to be, but rather because they make it their personal mission to ensure you have a great stay.
Beach placement was perfect as well, we went for the Full Moon Party and we couldn't have been in a better spot...know if you go to bed early you will still hear the bass from the clubs, but it's not that bad.
All in all, I'd recommend Palita Lodge to literally anyone thinking of going to Koh Phangan!
