Incredible price, but too far from town

This place was very inexpensive for what we got - a nice-sized, clean, comfortable room, with a great, totally-enclosed, full-power shower in the bathroom. We were on the top floor and the staff carried our bags up the stairs for us. Even though the price was incredibly good for what we got, the location was a little far from town and the neighborhood not so good. There was no "view" to speak of. We had a nice, long walk into town from the hotel, but when we wanted to return at night, it was raining and there were very few taxis or tuk-tuks around to take us back.

Not charming...far from center ...
