Not as Promised, but not so bad
Was rather disappointed about a couple of smaller things.
There are some issues. I wouldn't recommend the beachfront units. There are only 3, one of which is ok as its at the end and rather private, the other two are like little fish bowls, no privacy at all. The garden view bungalows would be a better choice.
Management do not try to really help you. THey try to push you into very expensive taxis, for example 800Bht to the airport! Shouldn't cost more than 500, and you can get there by bike and bus/truck for about 250.
This is a budget resort, they offer basic features that you might expect, but not very high quality. The breakfast is just adequate, not high on quality or quantity, and they will charge you from 10:01AM.
The towels and sheets are not washed well, have a slippery, soapy texture to them.
However, though I was disappointed with the above features, the location is very nice, not too developed around there - though that is changing at this moment. If you get a good deal on a room, this can be a very lovely place to stay.
For me, I would look around a bit if I was going to go to that area again, but would consider Am Samui.
I would absolutely try to stay in that area though, nice to be away from the Chawang mess.
