Mukdahan the Most boring place in Thailand

Stay was comfortable the staff was very friendly and the staff is what makes the place. The hotel from the outside looks rough but inside is fine for a budget hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable mostly thai tv with a couple of english channels like BBC News and Aussie TV (yes I know aussies dont speak english)
I would not recommend single ladies staying at the hotel since the walk to restaurants and 7-11 is very dark with very little street lighting and I think there are comparable hotels in a more lit up area.
Lastly unless you HAVE to go to Mukdahan dont bother its the most boring place I have been more a very long time and the only reason I went there was because I needed to go to Laos for a thai visa

Met all my needs
Good room and WiFi. Has lift. Mekong River 1 kilometer as is Indochina market. Wonderful manager I will miss her kindness

Very clean, and good value
This hotel iv very clean, good value, the staff are friendly and helpful. But it's in a quiet location well away from the Mekong River, and so I moved to another hotel close to the river.

Good rooms
Nice modern hotel, very big comfy rooms. Good Thai style breakfast. Little bit out of town, 10-15 minute walk to market.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel with big clean comfy rooms. Nice friendly staff. Hotel is 15 minute walk to river market and tuk tuk ride to Tower bars
