The location: About a 10-15 minute walk to/from main pier. But once there, everything you could possibly need is within a 2 minute walk. The stunning beach is just around the corner, including the beach bars and restaurants. There's a couple of supermarket options, massage, travel agents & diving companies, chemists, and more bars and restaurants the other way. The viewpoint is also quite close (up a really big hill though - go early).
The room: we had a room in the standard building which I think was better than the cheaper 'huts', as they probably blocked out some of the night-time noise. It was large, had a fridge and was perfect for what we needed. We could've upgraded to bungalows, but again I think these may have been a little noisier at night. It was clean and had plenty of storage space.
The staff: didn't have too much interaction with them, but they were pleasant when we did.
