Lanta Miami is right on the beach with an infinity pool offering sunset views to die for. These two points alone would be enough to sell the place. Add in the helpful and friendly staff and the bars and convenience shops nearby and you would be hard-pressed to find a reason to leave. Breakfast each morning was different to the last with a good mix of Thai, Chinese and Western dishes (no pork though, it's a mostly Muslim island after all). Our room was spacious and comfortable. One niggle is that there's little choice for street food this far down Khlong Nin, so unless you're happy to walk 1.5km to near the 7-Eleven (an easy walk along the beach), you're stuck with restaurant mark-ups.
