Beautiful resort, a little upgrading needed

We chose Lanta Miami on a recommendation from some travelers we met in Laos and weren't disappointed. The food was great, staff was helpful and the beach frontage was beautiful.

We stayed during the week just before the official opening if the tourism season so staff was busy finishing last minute renovations which wasn't an issue, but there were a couple of issues with our room. Firstly, the water pressure was hit and miss for the shower and toilet but especially the sink. It hardly worked at all. Secondly, we had to ask a couple of times for our room to be made up. Not deal breakers, but minor inconveniences.

The food was good, with Lanta Miami's restaurant cooking fresh seafood on the BBQ every night and serving everything from pad thai to pizza all day. The included breakfast is really good too, fresh fruit and fruit juices were excellent.

Lanta Miami doesn't serve alcohol though, that's left to P'Dang Bar. Everyone who works at the bar is super chill and it's a great spot to spend the night. P'Dang Bar makes the Lanta Miami resort somewhere you'll want to come back to.

Great location with pool and beach out front
