Fantastic hotel with great staff
We had a fantastic time at the resort; it was definitly one of the best places in our 6 weeks long vacation in Thailand. We had the biggest bungalow, which was really fair in price, and it had plenty of room for our two small children even with an extra bed on the floor. The room was clean and comfortable, but maybe the bathroom was a bit under the standard - but absolutly a minor detail.
The restaurant at the hotel was very good, both in quality and price, so we eat there both morning and evening; they were really tolerant in regard to our probably noisy children and they cooked the food specially for them without any problem. In general the staff was so nice and helpful, and they really seemed to enjoy working with turist/foreigners/at the hotel. Also, the resort has 2 minibusses and does free shufflebus to/from the busstation/trainstation and maybe it is possible to use/book during the stay as well; they drove us to the mall one day for free, which was really helpfull and good service!
The resort also have free (!) bikes, but unfortunally no children-seats. But for others it is really a good way to get to town easily. There were over 30 bikes, so i think, it was possible to keep them for the entire stay.
The one minus is the location, the resort is a bit far from town, maybe 20-30 minuts by foot, but you can walk along the riverside which is nice, and since the restaurant is good and fair in price, there is no need to go into town for basic things like meals/drinks/snacks.
We would absolutly recommened this resort to anyone staying at Sukothai!!!!
