My stay in King's resort

After reading many good reviews on this hotel with a very satisfactory rating of 8.4, I thought I will be having a good resort hotel to stay when I wanted to go Koh Samui this weekend and was looking forward to have a great time there.
Upon arrival, going to the reception counter was a long walk towards the beach, passing along all the villas, and there was this glass door leading to a small room where the reception counter was located. It looks like a 70s setup.
Entering the standard room which I had booked, it was very much smaller than the photos shown in their website, which is quite misleading indeed, with a queen size bed covering 70% of the whole room area while the toilet is about half the size of the room.
I had booked 4 standard rooms for myself and my friends, and two of the units had hot water problem and the wash basin tap was very noisy when it was turn on when the water was gushing out of the tap.
After our dinner, I went to the reception at 10pm, intending to complain about the water heater that is not dispensing hot but cold water and…… what a surprise!!! It was in total darkness and closed!!! OMG!! How can a resort hotel have its reception closed from 10pm onwards? By the way, the water from the tap is slightly salty.
I then went to look for the security guard but the guy there told me in broken English, that it is closed, he cannot help and only can be done tomorrow! What a disappointment!!!
This is the first time that I have stayed in a hotel that has its reception closed at 9pm!!
Though the rooms were small, it is still acceptable and the bed is comfortable, but it is good only for 1 couple and if you have a baby, it is extremely small. However, it is not sound proof and I can hear people talking very loudly in the morning, disturbing my sleep, and the windows do not have dark curtains, thus making rooms very bright in the morning which is another minus point.
