Superb Pool & Views

Lots to appreciate here, though I wish we'd stayed on the other side of Ploen Chit, as our business was at the U.S. Embassy. Still walkable, but many hotels are much better situated. Wireless runs one way there & in the wrong direction. Nevertheless a stunning pool area with beautiful views of the city. The room service food was O.K.; as a vegetarian I found myself with very few options, but they were all fine. My wife said her food (non-vegetarian) was good. One of the most pleasant features of our room was its size, with a lovely living room area and nice separated bedroom. Quite large. Next were the views of Bangkok, which were superb. The bathroom was also quite large with a wonderfully shaped bathtub and separate shower. Unfortunately, unless angled just so, the water from the bathtub sprayed all over the room, creating an awkward mess, not because it was broken, just by design. The shower pressure was very low when hot and the shower head strangely limited, with no overhead.

Convenient location but the hotel is a bit old
