Overpriced basic hotel with no amenities and unhelpful staff.

On entering the Sofa Gallery, I found it enchanting and very appealing to the eye. A member of staff showed us to our rooms and this is where things deteriorated. No coffee or tea in the room, no breakfast and no tv in two of them. While the bed linen was clean the room itself was not, bathrooms had damp everywhere and showers that would not drain away. The hotel itself is situated some distance from central nong khai and when we asked for assistance from the lone staff member for transport, we were told we could find some ourselves down the road. Bearing in mind we occupied four out of the five rooms the service and amenities did not equate to the amount of money paid for them.

Rough around the edges
