Wonderful atmosphere and hospitability

We stayed only for one night in Nong khai before moving on to Vientiane.Nong Khai is a quite place perfect for relaxing - no stressy sight seeing schedule, no night life until early morning. The hotel is located few min away from the city center in a quite location close to the Mekong river. The staff were friendly and the hotel atmosphere was perfect for relaxing after our tiresome trip to the beaches and the islands in South Thailand. Though the lunch we ordered was a little expensive at the hotel than I would have thought - better to have a stroll along the road for few hundred meters where some road side restaurants offer cheap and tasty food.
