Unique small hotel on the Mekong

Located about one lkilometre from Nong Khai this small hotel was a great place to relax. A long walk to the Mekong promenade and market or short tuk-tuk ride. No meals at the hotel (excluding breakfast) but plenty of options in Nong Khai. One person operation, 'Max' provided enthusiastic and great service but was under pressure when all 5 rooms were full. Riverview rooms had external balcony shower and toilet, sounds strange but worked for us.
Mosquitoes were a problem at night, so come prepared. No mosquito nets in the rooms.
