Convenient Location

TR Guesthouse is conveniently located near to restaurants, markets, 7-Eleven and not too far from the bus terminal. It is clean although felt a little stuffy at this time of the year. We got a room on the ground floor. Quiet and wifi is pretty good. Towels are changed daily.
Mr Toh the owner can be strict with the house rules. I have a feeling this stems from bad experience with previous guests. We checked in around 9pm; the place was shut down but it didn't take long for Toh to open up and let us check in. The next morning he was more cheerful with the other guests having breakfast, which is not included in the room price and have to be paid separately.
The breakfast is good quality although a tad of the high side. Coffee is freshly brewed.
Toh rents out motorbike at competitive rates; convenient to just rent from him.
