Excellent getaway in a quiet secluded part of town
This was the second time my wife and I visited Phuket. We stayed at the tourist part of town in Patong last time so we've decided to stay somewhere secluded to enjoy the peace and quiet. Very close to HKT airport, about 15 min taxi ride. The overall resort is smaller compared to the large franchise types, and it is pretty new looking. The rooms are large with kitchen, dining and living area, walk in closet, semi-open bathroom, large bed, and pool. Appliances, tv, etc are new. However the maintenance in the pool area can be improved, and would make the overall feels much better. Outside our back door leads straight to the beach, very clean, hardly seen anyone, don't think its suitable for swimming due to the waves. The buffet breakfast is great, dinner is excellent but pricey. The dessert is a must try, better than most of the places I've been to. The main pool is large and clean with bar. Service is superb, friendly and polite staff, some of them speak English. You can arrange sightseeing/tours/shows from the resort. There is nothing surrounding the resort, maybe a very local convenient store about 20 min walk. You can get some drinks and snacks there, much cheaper than from the hotel. I would recommend to anyone who likes quiet, and chill at the resort.
