I think Maikhao dream has lots of room to improve. We have addressed the issues during our check-out with the Assistant Manager. 1. When we arrive, we were told that the 2 bedrooms villa that we booked was fulled, so we got upgraded to 3 bedrooms villa instead. Funny thing is...the staff ask us to choice 2 bedrooms from the villa, then she will actually lock the third room?! Never came across this strange upgrade arrangement in my whole entire life! And she did lock the room even after we have discussed with her. She told us it's therr policy... 2. We are trying to book our own transportation, however, the staff told us taxi from outside are not allowed to pick-up at the hotel!!! The only way we can book taxi is from the hotel which is 50% more expensive than outside. Staff even told us the whole Phuket is like this...and the hotel didn't provide any shuttle to and from town---nothing! 3. The Jacuzzi in our villa was full of moss! They didn't clean it until the 3rd day of our stay. 4. The kitchen was not fully equipped, they have a stove but without cookware. No pots and pans. When we call up house keeper for a pan, she told us they might not have it…as they only have 2 in total for 22 villa!!! And when she came, we asked her to replenish our tea bags (which supposed to replenish everyday but it wasn’t), she then give up a long face with “Is there anything else?” very rude! 5. Last thing, we didn't get to use our complimentary spa because the staff made a mistake, she forgot to book for us!!!! Good thing about the villa is it's very spacious and quiet...but that' all!
