Peaceful and relaxing

I really enjoyed my stay there. It was so peaceful.
I arrived at 9:30am and thought I'd just leave my bag at reception to check in later, but they showed me right to my room. When I left, they called a taxi service with a preset (fair) price for me so I didn't have to worry about finding a taxi back to the airport.
The breakfast was pretty standard fair - you choose your main course (eggs, bacon, toast, etc), and then there is also a buffet of fruit, yogurt and cereal.
The staff were all very friendly. While waiting for my taxi to the airport, I dozed off a bit, and one of the office staff even came and covered me with a towel/blanket!
This place is a bit of a walk from the main touristy areas, and I always find flagging down a tuktuk or taxi in Chiang Mai a bit of wait in Chiang Mai (unless leaving a tourist area). However, it is still in the Old City, and I personally appreciated being a bit further away from the hubbub. I slept SO well here...
