Quiet garden in the heart of the Old Town

This was my fifth stay at the Tamarind. The staff are always amazing people and eager to help. We had a deluxe room, the same type I always use. But this room was smaller than others I was in. We had to move a plant and hotel books to make a workable desk. I will say the porch was better than expected. But the room had more noise than expected. We could easily hear people going up and down stairs and the people in the room over ours. I even tried to change rooms or upgrade, but the hotel was full.
