We booked a Deluxe Room and thank goodness we did. The room whilst clean was very compact and I mean compact! If you wanted to just sit down in your room the only place to sit was on the bed. We had an ensuite bathroom. As for cupboard space, again in short supply. We were there for 5 nights and were happy to live out of our suitcases. There is a small swimming pool with a few sun loungers. However, as soon as a sun lounger became available, there was somebody waiting to fill it so you had to be lucky with your timing. What you have to appreciate is that the hotel is in the old part of town and space is limited. The best thing about this hotel was its location. For a small hotel, the quality and choice of food available in the restaurant was superb although it did lack atmosphere. The weekly night market in Chiang Mai is literally just across the road. If you're there on a Sunday, definitely worth a visit. As with most people in Thailand, the staff are friendly and helpful.
