Tamarind has lost its glory in every aspects.

I stayed there 5 years ago and loved it, however I was so disappointed this time. It is now just an average hotel. I particularly disappointed with the response of one of the staff at the reception when I checked out. I gently told her that I was not satisfied with my stay this time. I had a serious noise problem ( every time my next door guest used the toilet or shower it made a very loud noise ) and that they should check it out to see if something is wrong with the water pipe. The receptionist was nice and friendly till then but responded to the claim with a bit of attitude. All the staff including her at the reception sent me off with no greetings, just silence.
There are lots of other great boutique hotels available now in CM. I would not stay at Tamarind again and would not recommend to any of my friends.
