The Tamarind Resort Hotel, Chiangmai

You can find the Tamarind at the heart of Chiangmai, Thailand. Yet, you will not feel or hear the bustling city sounds. The resort is built in such a way that the rooms are tucked far away from the main entrance. The numerous trees filter the noise of the main road. The staff is so courteous and helpful. I left my toothpaste with our companion, who was on the other side of the resort, so I asked their staff to please get it for me and bring it to my room. And in an instant it was there. The following day, thinking that we were sharing a toothpaste, they got me a new tube!! Also, on weekends, you can just walk out of the hotel entrance, and they close the whole street turning it into a flea market for good finds!

My fave in Chiang Mai
I’ve been coming here for 15years and the family friendly service remains as good today as ever. I love his place. Such a gorgeous hideaway in an ever developing Chiang Mai.
