I worked at a 4 star hotel in Germany (Steigenberger and Dorint Sofitel) for 4 years, so I guess I am able to make a decent comment. Good location, in the heart of Chiang Rai. But the rooms doesnt look like on the pictures.I dont like it to get tricked like this. The walls were filthy with stains everywhere, not nice to fall asleep there. Webspiders in the corner of the room and dusty at places where the cleaning lady thought the guests wont see it... Bathroom was very clean though, so at least i could take a shower peacefully. Only stayed here for one night, and wouldnt have stayed longer. Reception lady and the rest of the stuff are very friendly and nice though.

Beware bed bugs
Had some mild bed bugs bites on legs and arms. Free coffee, tea, bananas.

Cute place, great matress
Nice cosey place, very good matress which seems to be rare in Thailand. We were on ground floor and did have a couple cockroaches visiting, but got some bug spray from the reception, no biggie.
