Good location but dodgy street

This place was reasonably value for money. It was very close to the centre of Chiang Rai and a 7 minute walk from the bus station. However the room was filthy. There were mosquitoes flying everywhere. It does not take much to clean the walls and ceiling! Also although the location was good, the actual street did not feel very pleasant. We had to walk past some questionably "massage" parlors to get to the hotel. This felt very uncomfortable. Additionally, although tea and coffee is provided, this is by the reception which is locked in the evening so we could not access it when we needed.
Overall, this place is good if you want somewhere cheap just to sleep. If I was returning to Chiang Rai however I would pay a bit more to have a better experience.

Don’t bother!
The room was only partially made up. One bed was without sheets! The room had a lot of mosquitos and smelled bad. There were dirt smears on the walls as well. When I asked for a refund it was refuse... อ่านต่อ
