Lovely place
Felt like had to be a bit wary here of being charged extra for things. They had tried to charge me 250baht for taxi even though was meant to be free taxi as advertised on the photo of the hotel on the website. Yes they had said the pick up time needed to be 7.30am for my flight (before 8am when they say its free from) but had said that it would still be free as originally I had said just take us at 8am. When I said this they accepted it though and wasn’t any problem. They add service charge of about 18% to any drinks you get from the pool bar. Breakfast wasn’t worth the 350 baht each. I’m one of those people who likes to try everything on buffets. The juice/toast/eggs and cereal and Fruit was fine but the rest of the food was just about warm and seemed like last nights leftovers to us and wouldn’t recommend. If I stayed again would go get breakfast on the beach and avoid the hotel one.
The garden villa we had was very impressive and huge. The cleaners were great and the shampoo and body wash were good quality. The pool was stunning and we enjoyed the floats available.
The float to leave the hotel was no problem. I assume they keep it like that to stop people off the beach getting into the hotel. We asked the hotel if we could have someone pull the float across for us at 10pm and 11pm on each night and this was no problem and he was there waiting for us.
The beach is beautiful and not too busy and lots of restaurants and massage places.
