The room was not prepared
This is also the follow up after receiving no response to earlier complaint which the GM promised me to reply back.

I arrived at the property around 7:50 p.m. Their standard check-in time is 2:00 p.m., which is published on confirmation e-mails.
The front desk let me know that my assigned room wasn’t ready yet due to their internal communication mistakes even I have paid in full and not refundable.
I was offered nothing but to wait outdoor patiently with some mosquito for next 20 minutes. My parents was so tried and expected to get rest right after checking in.
That got me thinking, though. This hasn’t happened very often to me at all. In fact, it hasn’t happened in over a decade (I’m very lucky I guess). I always travel with family (3 persons) and the extra bed always be prepared.
