Perfect secluded location and friendly staff!

this was a fantastic place to bring two small children (age 6 and 3) and serve as a base for day trips in/around Chiang Mai. The staff right off the bat put us in touch with an excellent guide to take us around- While maybe pricey at around 5000B per day for such service it gave us a dedicated vehicle and translator, plus an extra set of hands to manage a very adventurous 3 year old! Everyone at the hotel made us feel like family, to include birthday cake that we hadn't asked for for our son, and lanterns for the loi krathong festival. As was previously mentioned, they will on occasion drive you into the city as well as required, though our guides generally did that- They will charge, but that is perfectly reasonable. The only drawback may be the distance to the city (approx 15km), but with the kids we weren't planning on going out to enjoy the nightlife anyway, so the country was far more suitable for us!

Need of cleaning and upgrading

Past it's prime, but still worth a visit
