great location but awful room and service

upon arrival, the reception requested for thb 1,000 as deposit which i think fair enough. but the worst part is they do not accept payment by credit card and rudely insist that they will return the money when i check-out. buy hey, my concern is not about the money, its about the currency. whats the point of having thb when i'm leaving the country?
secondly, i went in the room and these awful smells all over the room. the bed sheets is filled with dust. the carpet on the floor is so dirty which even darken my foot immediately. not to mention the bathroom, the stains and smell almost makes me vomit. no room change will be entertained.

i booked for a 3 nights stay and ended up leaving this place the very next morning. this is how bad it is. don't be cheated by the nicely photoshop-ed pictures.

Great Location

Good location. . Decent breakfast was served. Staff are alright. Lots to do during the night. Lots of great food joints all around. even the best rooms the hotel has to offer are very old and run down
