Tango Luxe

Stayed with my wife for 4 nights here. We took the junior villa with plunge pool. The location and surrounding greenery was very beautiful. The outside area of the villa with the plunge pool and sitting area was gorgeous in the day. At night, we felt it could have been better lit. It was quite dark to use the plunge pool after the sun sets. The room was decent fixed and super comfortable bed made things really cozy, especially when it was raining outside! The bathroom was super sized with a huge Roman type bathtub, separate rainshower and commode. We loved our baths there! They provided a coffee machine and electric kettle, both of which didn't work well though. Breakfast was served to our villa every morning. You can choose from about 6 or 7 types of meals ( e.g American breakfast, Spanish, British, and so on). Although the breakfast was decent we felt they were all pretty much similar with just minor differences. They have an Oriental restaurant with a Chinese theme design. Nice looking but when we dined there one night we saw a rat scuttling along by our table so needless to say, we didn't dine there again. The outdoir pool by the sea is a thing of beauty! Overlooking the Big Buddha statue in the distance, it is a perfect place to catch the sunset on a clear evening sipping on a drink. Unfortunately they decided to close the outdoor pool for renovation till mid November for our last 2 nights,which was a bit of a surprise. They gave us a dining and spa voucher as a replacement. The staff are very polite. Coming from Singapore, where good customer service is not easy to find, we had no complaints about the Tango Luxe service staff! You can borrow bicycles for free of you want to explore the surrounds. A scooter rental place is just outside the hotel if you would prefer that. 24hr convenience store also less than 10min walk away. There are no restaurants nearby. You would have to get your transport out for some decent food joints. Overall we really liked our stay,
