Stunning views and great rooms

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the resort. The view from the pool and restaurants area is just mind-blowing. Every day we were so amazed by how beautiful this island and the surroundings are.
The owner lady is very energetic and friendly and she helped us a lot throughout our stay (for example when we needed to see the island doctor for a small health issue).
We had dinner in the restaurant twice and they catered to our special requests (vegan) by making us delicious fried rice with tofu and veggies as well as fresh spring rolls. The smoothies were delicious too! We thought the prices in the restaurant were fine compared to other places on the island.
The room is not brand new but it's nice enough. You get a private balcony with the cheapest room which we enjoyed. The bathroom is quite big and the room had everything we needed (fridge, AC, mirrors, shelves, lamps etc). Daily cleaning was convenient and the staff did a great job. A few things could be improved: - The bathroom needs a fan! There was no air circulation whatsoever in the bathroom which was annoying - The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors every night and morning. When staff was cleaning the rooms close to ours, we could hear them talk loudly at 9am which was not very relaxing. - Smoking should be forbidden by the pool and in the restaurant. The wind blew the smoke towards us and it was not pleasant.
Apart from that, we had a really relaxing and great stay and would stay here again!
(note: on our last day, some obnoxious Germans checked in. they didn't know we understand/speak German as well and talked loudly about the staff and owner and were just rude. They tried to get cheaper prices for massages and shuttles which can be booked through the hotel - we were so embarrassed! Thailand is not all about getting cheaper and cheaper prices and haggling everywhere. I personally think it's much more important that all staff gets paid fair wages and that they do their job and enjo
