Perfect relaxation on Koh Mak
We had the perfect 5 nights here over Xmas. Noi, Nik and the staff were really amazing. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our little boy was spoilt by their attention! The infinity pool and restaurant views are the highlight of this hotel. The food in the restaurant is excellent and we really enjoyed the breakfast choice, which was inclusive. We had a garden view, however there is no garden to speak of (more of a line of shrubs along the balcony), so I would really recommend you to book a sea view- the wifi works in the sea view rooms too whereas the garden view rooms are below ground so do not pick up the free wifi signal!! If you are a tv addict it is also worth noting- they only have Thai channels, however this is something they are aiming to change. On Xmas eve we had a Gala buffet with a guy singing and playing guitar, Xmas hats were handed out and gifts of wine and chocolates given to the guests too. It really was over and above what we expected and it made our Xmas very memorable. We would definitely stay here again. A special place on a petite chilled island!
