Beautiful and peaceful resort
We really enjoyed the remote location, there were not too many people on the beach because the road there is not easiest to drive with scooter. We used the hotels own taxi service which worked very well. Private taxis from city center or harbour are quite expensive unless you have a bigger group. The Resort is on a really beautiful beach and Resort itself had really beautiful garden and surroundings. Snorkeling was perfect just in front of the resort, diving lessons were also possible right from the resort. Breakfast was good but dinner was a bit too western for our taste. But we found a small restaurant right at the beach where they served really good authentic thaifood and great coctails. Our room (suite) was wonderful with two rooms and big bathroom and big balcony. All in all we were really pleasantly suprised both about the room and the resort when compared to the official 3 stars rating. What might be the reason for three stars is that there is no reception or other personnel available after 9 PM, food and drinks selection is overall quite limited and theres no room service. For us this didnt matter because we had bought our room fridge full on drinks and snacks and we ate at the restaurant nearby. Would definately like to go back.
