The quiet side of Koh Tao

We couldn't have made a better choice to fit our interests as a early 30/ late 20s couple. If you want a quieter side of Koh Tao with the diving, beach, and adventure it's a good place. 4 days was a perfect amount of time before heading back to the west side of the island. The hills aren't bad if you don't mind a minor juant depending on your room. The staff is more than accommodating. A little humility goes a long way in Southeast Asia. The diving was good; so was the swimming and snorkeling in the bay. Unfortunately many people don't understanding the fragile coral reef ecosystem and walk around on the reef. It is feeling the stress and beginning to look like the fate of many other reefs around. Still one of the nicest I have seen!

lovely secluded resort right on the beach

Very calm but great getaway
Very quiet and remote. Only hotel restaurang and 1-2 other hotel restaurangs available within walking distance. Or you need a 400 Bath taxi (one way) to the other side of the Island. Not to big beach ... อ่านต่อ

Very nice Beach Hotel located at quiet Tanote Bay

Beautiful hotel very far from everything

Idyllic setting for peaceful break
