Horrendous!
Not what we expected. Basic and dated. No Wi-Fi in the room. Not that close to the beach. The room was made up for 2 people rather than 3 as booked. Had to go and ask for additional items. The bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned with toothpaste all over the tap and all up the wall behind the sink. Tap is hanging and turned to the side. Mirror is hanging off the wall. The shampoo bottles were half used. Shower doesn't work properly. Wires hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. Bed lining had a hole in it. No lamp shade on the bed side light. Mattress was awful, feels about 20 years old - soft with an indent in the middle which me and my sister kept falling into in the night. The side board had dirt on it. They ask for a 1000 baht deposit on the room, and there is a list of costs in the room if something is damaged or lost, however it seems that they will charge but not fix after. I don't believe the beds were changed as a We found an ear ring in the bed. We woke up and had been bitten. We were booked for 2 night stayed 1 as we were unable to find somewhere else for the first night, we were forced to stay elsewhere for the second night. The two young lads working were lovely, but the man who said he was the manager was appalling. He didn't care at all and when we told him what room number he seemed to know that that wasn't a very good room. Very rude! Would never stay here again. It feels like an old fashion motel in America where you'd get shot. Please look on trip advisor as I have uploaded realistic pictures onto that! Spoilt our trip to Railay!
