If you don’t buy an air con room you WILL DIE it is so so hot! But that is to be expected due to the temperature outside so not a criticism of the hotel just a recommendation to spend a bit extra on air con! As for the room we heard ribbiting when we first arrived that sounded like it was in the room. However upon opening the door saw a frog outside and assumed it had come from there. On our second night we saw the frogs jumping around in our room randomly when we hadn’t opened the door. When pulling the draws away from the wall we found an entire family living in here that we had shared the room with the entire time! Our bed also definitely had bed bugs that were eating us alive, even the bed sheets had blood stains on them. We asked to move rooms once we realised frogs lived in there and there was bed bugs but were told we weren’t aloud. Also cockroaches in the bathroom! In all honesty we spent the entire time excited to leave Railay just so we wouldn’t be in that hotel anymore.
