Glur was great :)

Beds in the 6 person dorm were amazing - basically like a little room with hanging space and a cupboard big enough to lock your bags in as well as a curtain for privacy and a little window in every bed (plus light and power sockets). Breakfast was simple but good (fruit and toast), plus there's free drinking water and coffee and tea all day. There is a super nice common area and a pool as well. A washing machine if you need to do laundry, and plenty of lines to dry your clothes so you don't have to hang them inside the room. Many places to eat nearby and only a 10-15 minute stroll to the main beach at Ao Nang. Due to the price it seems to get rid of young, party animal tourists so the vibe here is definitely much calmer and quieter than some other hostels in the area. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any travellers (including families). Glur was great!!
