Perfect for getting away from it all.
My wife and I were very pleased with Resolution Resort. We'd wanted to spend a couple of days away from the crowds and this resort certainly provided that opportunity. The staff were all very kind. I had no complaints at all, but the wonders and other support staff would stop by from time to time to ask about our stay and if we needed anything. If you do need to go into town (the hotel is very isolated), the owner operates a free shuttle service three times a day so you can go for shopping or dinner in Bangbao. They also provide a couple of kayaks for free and it was fun to take one out for a ride to Bangbao and the surrounding areas. I was able to paddle around the island and see monkeys hanging out on the beach.
The room was very nice. Lovely views from the balcony and the bed was very comfortable. The room itself was quite large and everything was working properly.
The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast. It was very typical of any other free hotel breakfast I've had on Koh Chang. The food is fresh but just not fantastic. For a free included breakfast it is certainly satisfactory, though.
