Excellent stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Marriott's Mai Khao Beach Club. The staff are fantastic and there are enough activities to keep young children entertained. The pool is a bit deep but we had brought our own life jackets for the kids and so we didn't mind. Its near the airport & that's always a bonus with young kids. Don't expect too many local shops near the vicinity though. Most things are overpriced by Phuket standards. But the room service in the hotel wad good and reasonably priced. Once they forgot one item we had ordered and the staff was very apologetic. They sent a complimentary fruit basket and also took off nearly 30% off our bill. We were very impressed with the level of service. Also its possible to order food from Kin Dee reataurant at very reasonable prices. They will deliver it to the hotel lobby. Overall its was a great stay!
